Christina González
Based in New York City, I’ve
written professionally for several years, mainly about
video games and related topics, food and travel. You may
have seen my work in The Escapist, The Nibble,
AOL’s network sites, Yahoo, MMORPG.com, RTSGuru.com,
FPSGuru.com, and Trazzler/Open Spaces. I’m
experienced in blogging, posting news, editorials, short
and long form writing, light humor, and more. Topics and
themes include news, business, industry issues, online
games (MMOs and beyond), culture topics, communities.
Experience also extends to as well as interviews,
examining trends, and reported features. Been gaming since
the age of three and it's an indelible part of me.
PC/console/mobile.
In addition to freelancing, I
am the Associate Editor/News Manager over at RTSGuru.com
as well as a community moderator and contributor to
MMORPG.com. Looking to branch out and grow across
multiple genres. I am looking for
opportunities in video game journalism, related tech and
geek topics, as well as food writing. I am a bilingual
writer with translation and moderation experience in
English and Spanish.
Whether on a short schedule or
working with plenty of advance notice, I pride myself on
professional copy and meeting deadlines. I’ve also
represented companies on the media side at PR events,
cons, and in conducting interviews. I’ve spent the past
decade involved in online communities at all levels.
I’m a gamer, foodie, bookworm,
word nerd, and all around geek. A relentless explorer of
the virtual and the real.
There is a story in everything
and in everyone. I tell them.
